Hungry Lucus is a stop motion short video which I was experimenting with the techniques of stop motion. My objective was to come up with a short narrative which can be portrayed in 20-30 secs, only using stop motion.
Lucus generously volunteered to be my subject for my video. The shooting process was quite fast, took half an hour. After shooting, we gathered all the images and compiled them in After Effects. The camera I used was a Canon EOS 500D.
Hungry Lucus was sitting in a cafe and was wanting to purchase something to eat. Unfortunately, when he checked his wallet, he had no money. There was a cup in front of him and an idea come to him. His big idea was to eat the cup and Lucus was no longer hungry.
