A student team was competing in the 2016 international legal start-up competition, Law Without Walls (LWOW), hosted by University of Miami School of Law. The team's innovative business solution to the problems teenager's face in protecting their privacy rights on social media, which they was recognised as the competition's Most Creative Project of Worth.
When the team reached out to me, they already had a pre-existing logo which they weren't to happy with the style and thought it was too complex for their brand.
Essentially what they wanted was to keep the design concept but simplify the style to a more minimalistic and a monochrome colour scheme.
I took their design concept and created a logo that looked similar to a school badge which corresponds with the products target audience. I provided the logo in 5 monochrome colour scheme, which the team all favoured the green colour scheme the most.
LWOW teams 100 students from 30 law and business schools around the world with academic, business, entrepreneur, and legal mentors. Over four months, teams identify a problem related to law and create a business plan for a solution (often a legal startup). In the process, LWOW refines 21st Century professionals skills, recharges the law market with innovations across law, business, and technology, and revitalizes relationships with colleagues, clients, and future talent across the globe.
