Yorkic the Quest Carer is an RPG game which I designed and developed for my final university major work. I went through the process of creating a game - research, writing and creating the storyline, developing characters and gameplay, 3D modelled the environment and developing the game in CopperCube.
My main aim for this project was to produce a short RPG game that displays my 3D modelling skill which I learnt throughout the years of my university degree. I partnered with a software developer to help me with physics and logic of my game which can be applied to CopperCube. As I had limited time, I concentrated more on the architecture and environment of the game world and used 3D packages which I purchased for small elements such as wheat field and wagons.
I was able to produce a game in 3 months, thanks to CopperCube. CopperCube is a game engine with graphical editor developed by Ambiera. It allows non-programmers to create 3D applications via drop-and-drag which is based on behaviour and action-oriented logic system.
Yorkic is always open to help the townspeople. One day, he was confronted with a town murder. Follow Yorkic to solve the murder mystery.
